The Coca-Cola merchandising learnership opportunity focuses on developing future-ready Visual Merchandisers who can effectively support sales growth, customer engagement, and brand visibility. Learners receive structured, work-based learning while working closely with Sales Teams and Account Developers.

The programme runs over a 12-month period and leads to an occupational qualification requiring a minimum of 120 credits.


Key Duties and Responsibilities

Learners may be required to perform the following duties:

In-Store Execution and Merchandising

  • Execute daily call schedules across assigned outlets
  • Implement visual merchandising standards and in-store displays
  • Ensure correct stock rotation and product availability
  • Monitor product quality and brand visibility
  • Complete execution scorecards and iRED surveys

Customer and Sales Support

  • Support customers with order placement using the MyCCBA platform
  • Assist with promotional activities and brand campaigns
  • Provide relief support as required by the line manager

Interaction and Team Collaboration

Learners will interact with:

  • Sales Team Members for daily collaboration
  • Sales Account Developers for guidance and performance feedback

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Grade 12 with Maths or Maths Literacy (minimum 40%)
  • Grade 12 communication with English and a second language (minimum 40%)
  • South African citizen
  • Aged between 18 and 35 years
  • Employment Equity candidate
  • Unemployed at the time of appointment
  • Not enrolled in any learnership or full-time studies
  • No criminal or adverse credit record
  • Willing to undergo background and qualification verification
  • Available to work six days a week
  • Driver’s Licence is advantageous

A post-matric qualification in Sales and Marketing will be an added advantage.
