Who Can Apply?

To be eligible for the MBSA GDP 2026 intake, applicants must meet the following minimum criteria:

Educational Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric)
  • A completed tertiary qualification with at least 65% average pass mark
  • The qualification must be fully completed (no outstanding modules or incomplete certificates)

Accepted areas of study include:

  • Information Technology / Computer Sciences
  • Accounting / Financial Management
  • Business Studies (Marketing, Sales related fields)
  • Business Management (Project Management, Business Administration, Banking, Customs, Tax, Cost & Management)
  • Logistics Management
  • Data Science, Analytics and Informatics
  • Social Sciences (Psychology, Organisational Psychology, Industrial Sociology, Governance, Diversity Studies)
  • LLB (must have 1-year post-admission experience)

Additional Criteria

  • Must have graduated within the last 3 years
  • Must be a South African citizen
  • Must have strong academic performance and relevant skills
